So I was in a draft over the weekend, and they switched the rules on me and I didn't notice. They went to 2 starting QBs. Passing TDs worth 4. 1 point per 25 passing yards. PPR league. It WAS 1 QB.
Starts 2qb 2rb 2wr 1te 1flex (wr rb te) K DEF
Anyway I went ham and drafted elite RBs and WRs, and got a mediocre to weak QB situation. Here's my roster:
QB: Rivers, Tyrod Taylor
RB: Melvin Gordon, Ezekiel Elliot, Isaiah Crowell, Doug Martin, Theo Riddick
WR: Odell, Demariyus, Tyreek Hill, Amari Cooper, DeVante Parker, Martavis Bryant, Jordan Matthews
TE: Rudolph
D: Ravens
K: Cairo
So my skill position players are insanely good. If this was a 1QB league I'd be the favorite no doubt in my mind. I currently have #1 waver priority and i'm grabbing DeShone Kizer and dropping Jordan Matthews. I could also have Flacco, Alex Smith or Sam Bradford. I just feel like Kizer's athleticism give me a little more upside (rushing TDs and yards) then fragile game manager type qbs. What's everyones opinion on how I should manage my depth? Sell high on one of my bench WRs to try and snag a mid tier QB1? Like a Winston/Newton/Wilson? Or should I stand pat and have gross bench depth? Does anyone think I'll have such a major advantage at all my other slots that I don't need to make a huge move at QB? Let me know what you think!
