Such a buzzkill. I know the Vikings organization didn't want to offend Prince, but he has no right to write a song after he himself proclaims "hasn't watched a game in a long time" before he watched last week's Cowboys game. With the part about "walking on water" and the general slow theme, it's just a travesty. It is so bad. Prince could have written a hard rock tune but instead he went preachy with it, and it sucks. It's worse than Bat Dance. This is horrifying. I hope the Viking players don't have to hear it, honestly. It's bad.

JW's are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The are law abiding, friendly and follow the Bible closely. If the world was 100% JW's, there would be no crime and no wars.

I'm not going to The Watchtower Society's bs website.  What I posted is true, and I have first hand experience with it.  Girl I dated was brought before the elders of her Kingdom Hall for dating me and would have been shunned by her family and other JW's had it continued.  JW's are also false prophets (shown time and time again, and the bible is very clear about false prophets), and have changed the bible with their "new world order" bible to match their doctrine. I agree this is not the place, but it was brought up. Obviously I have strong feelings about it, as she was a good friend and smoking hot.

Ohh really the nicest people?When my brother died from colon cancer at the young age of 43, Jehovah witnesses that used to be our best friends back when we were in the cult, completely ignored his mom and dad who were crying by his bed side and completely shunned his other two brothers, they would not talk to us or even say "im sorry for your loss"...

At the wake I got up to say a few good words about my Jehovah Witness deceased brother and all of them got up and walked out. Why did I get this treatment? because I chose to leave the cult after not agreeing with their philosophy of shunning, of not allowing children and adults that need life saving blood not take it, and for general lies they constantly feed the members (end of world predictions, doctrinal changes). No I didnt kill anyone, or cheat on my wife, or go to jail, but I was disfellowshiped and shunned like a demon along with my family who all also left.

The love they show is superficial and false, and I feel sorry for Prince for falling into their web.

P.S. Sorry to bring this up in a forum, I realize its not on topic, but when you suffer for over 10 years in a cult you want to help others not get sucked in.

I don't think Prince gets the whole football team song concept. They need to be something to rev up a crowd, a fight song, a going-to-battle song. Not some damn thing you could sing to your children to sleep with.
