Ok, so the next George Brett he is not, but last year he came through with a terrific fantasy season while playing left field. He turns 28 in 3 days and no longer has to kick the ball around at third base. His 303-376-23-87-101-17 from last year was a top 20 fantasy season for batters in most league formats.

wow, one thing I did not realize is he's virtually the same age as Jeff Francouer. Would have figured him at least 3-4 years younger.

Hopefully he keeps his confidence from last year rolling into 2012 and not regress into oft injured/slumping 2009-2010 Gordon.
