Would you think these guys are are long term studs or flashes in the pan? I'm in last place in a keeper league and want to build for the future. I have been offered both of these guys for Manny Ramirez (who I won't keep at 28 bucks) and Brian Roberts (last year of his contract, so I can't keep him).

Thoughts?

I already have some young guys that I'm really building around, like Zimmerman, Longoria, Baker, Joba Chamberlain, Jay Bruce, Carlos Gonzalez, Cameron Maybin, Fausto Carmona, Liriano and Ian Kennedy.

How long is Kershaw's contract? Are there cap penalties for cutting him? If so, what?

Not really, he's about the best he has that he'll trade. Kershaw is in the minors, so no contract there.

See if you can get Kershaw for just one of Man Ram or Roberts, then sign him to a 12 year deal. Forget about Homer, use the one left of Man Ram and Roberts to try and make another deal.
