Pujols (1 Viewer)

So here's the deal - I have Pujols in my Dynasty league. One of the other owners in the league recently pulled of a highly contested trade to acquire Hanley Ramirez. Now the same guy is after Pujols. Now, I traded for Pujols earlier this year myself (Ortiz and Cueto) so I really have no intention of moving him. Certainly not for Burrell, Lugo and Alexei Ramirez. Or Garko, Alexei Ramirez, Burrell and Pedroia. The one for Aramis Ramirez (which might have been a mistake) Garko, Burrell and Lugo is intriguing but it got me wondering...what is Pujols worth. Especially with the injury concerns.

If you could get Longoria for him would you do it? Is the Aramis Ramirez deal a good deal? I would hope to get pitching as well as hitting for one of the best hitters in the game but am I being too greedy? I believe we can only keep 6 players for next year and I have Soto, Sizemore, Y Escobar, Loney, Alexi Casilla, and Adam Jones (and Pujols) and not much pitching to speak of (C Lee, K Wood, Marmol, Saunders, Greinke).

Any opinions out there that might help my cause?

6 keepers is not exactly a dynasty league..... If these are your possible keepers it's either a very large league (16+) or your team isn't very good. If you are going to trade Pujols who is one of only 3 guys I would consider for the #1 player consideration (Hanley and ARod being the others) you would have to do it for 2 very good keepers. No 1-for-1 offer is going to be reason enough to do it and certainly a 4-for-1 deal with only one good keeper option isn't. You are allowed to be greedy if you have the best player in any given deal. Aramis is a good piece but you would need a top 5 starting pitcher to go with it. Longoria is interesting but you would need a Johan Santana or something along those lines to make it worth your while.

Right on. It's a 20 team keeper. I guess a dynasty would be where you keep all or most of your players?
