Why would you do this? One mistake, putting the purse down and forgetting it, whatever--and you're both screwed.

Plus, it's embarrassing.

I've done this for almost 20 years and never lost anything.

Embarrassing for who? I don't think about cares whether I put my keys in my pocket or give them to my wife to put in her purse. And if anybody does care , so what - if I was embarrassed by it I'm pretty sure I wouldn't post about it.

Unless we're on vacation, my wife's usual handbag is about the size of a small book. I don't even think she'd have room for my wallet. That's if she even carries it. Usually, I'll take her license if she feels she'll need it.

Yeah, purse size is obviously a factor.And when she doesn't want to carry a purse I'll carry her license or if I am bringing a backpack I'll throw her phone and shades in there, too. Don't see the big deal in carrying your spouse's stuff.
