Question on weekly rankings on this site? (1 Viewer)

How much validity do you put into FB guys rankings? I'm scrambling for a QB in a superflex league, and see this site has Geno Smith (did you see his last game, and he gets Myles Garrett and Co coming to get him this week) ranked ahead of Bryce Young. Bryce just threw for 400+ yards, and is playing SF next week who just allowed Jacoby Brissett to complete 47 passes. I know that's recency bias, and a lot of stuff had to happen in those gamescripts to make the results possible, but just wondering about rankings like this. Maybe these get cleaned up later in the week, but I'm trying to get a guy now before my competitors do.

I think Bryce dinged his ankle again and there is some worry he may miss the game. It's a MNF so if you go with Bryce you run the risk of him not playing and have to resort to Dalton last minute.

I START YOUNG this week

Fantasy Impact: Young finished last week's game after suffering an ankle injury. He should be on track to be good to go for Monday's game against the 49ers.

Young completed 31 of 45 pass attempts for 448 yards and three touchdowns during Sunday's 30-27 overtime win over the Falcons.
Spin: Young sustained an ankle injury after taking a sack in the first quarter, but he didn't miss an offensive snap in Sunday's win. The Alabama product delivered his best game as a pro, setting a new career high in passing yards en route to a 14-point comeback victory. He showed great chemistry with wideouts Tetairoa McMillan and Xavier Legette (hip), completing 12 of 20 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns to that duo. Young has now thrown for 1,962 yards, 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions while leading the Panthers to second place in the NFC South. He could be a viable streaming option against a struggling 49ers defense in Week 12.
