Question regarding alternative IDP scoring (1 Viewer)

I'm putting together a startup Redraft/Auction/IDP league. Someone recently suggested an IDP scoring system where IDP scores are partially modified based on the stats of the opposing offense. They way they worded it was "if out of 9 starting D you started 2-3-4 you could subtract 10% of opposing WRs score...if you started 4-3-2 you subtract 10% of opposing RBs score"

I just wanted to know if anyone is in a league that does something like this. I'm looking into it and would love to check out the rule-set for such a league if you could link the league home-page. Thanks!

Never heard of it, but it's intriguing. You'd be giving up, say, 6 points by downgrading two DBs to DLs (tackles 1, assists 0.5, big plays 3-4 points). In return, you'd drop your opponent by, say, 2.5 points (2 RBs, 1/10 yards, no PPR). In other words, just always go with a 2-3-4.
