Since he's not on the FBG depth chart, I'll guesstimate that he was our 6th-string RB. Practice squad dude best known for leading the NFL in rushing in the 2006 PRESEASON.

Anyway

Report: Wilson arrested

June 18, 2007

Posted: 2:25 p.m.

Television stations out of Huntington, West Virginia are reporting Monday that Bengals running back Quincy Wilson was arrested early Sunday morning on a disorderly conduct charge following an incident in downtown Huntington.

Originally a seventh-round draft pick in 2004 by Atlanta, Wilson made his NFL playing debut last season with the Bengals. After leading the NFL with 217 yards rushing in the '06 preseason, he stuck on the Opening Day roster and played in his first three NFL games. He had two rushes for two yards, with both attempts coming October 1 vs. New England. Wilson spent a total of six games on the active roster and 10 games on the practice squad in '06.

Rich Rodriguez must be either really good at keeping these players under control while at WVU or he must be great at keeping the stuff they do away from the media...

It was public while they were at WVU. While at WVU, Pacman Jones was arrested and given a suspended sentence for beating someone with a pool cue, and Chris Henry was suspended by Rodriguez twice for on-the-field gestures and violating team rules.Scouts just chose to ignore.

I hadn't noticed that. Hmmm. I guess I'll say I think it's "off" a little.IIRC FBG's 3RB is third down back, IE Rudi goes down a guy with 3RB next to his name isn't essentially going in for him but someone without the 3RB.Oh no wait, maybe a better way would be to make two RB lists? Not sure. I'd put him above Burks. Perry doesn't matter as he doesn't play and...well that's right up to 3 if ya count Watson as a 3rd down back. Bit of confusion, sorry bout that

No worries - I mean basically Wilson is a dude who's floated on the practice squad and looked extremely unlikely to make the team barring an injury or probably 2 (even if he may be ahead of Burks). He showed a little bit last preseason, enough to get into a couple games and get (literally) a couple yards. But it isn't like they'd be missing him if he's gone - at most it would clear up a practice squad spot.
