the holy book claims that man was created in god's image. however, this was when man was still within eden, and lacking of all knowledge + emotion, before the serpent tricked adam and eve into consuming the fruit of knowledge. any suggestion that god gives a #### is you imposing your own human beliefs on it and thereby falling into satan's trap. plus why would god look anything like your gnarly ###?

Awesome, there hasn't been a religion flamewar in a long time around here. Thanks for this.

After years of extensive research, I'm pretty sure God is a dolphin.

I actually use that big word in my doctoral dissertation, which I'll be defending in a few days. FWIW (The context is conveying human qualities to organizations as it relates to organizational learning.)

I've grown up in the church and always been active in it, but I personally like to think of God as more of a spirit or life force. In that sense, God is everywhere and does surround me, which I find comforting.

And God is probably rooting for Denver since they're a mile closer to heaven.

So God is stupid and has no emotion.

That was around 4,000 years ago, if I'm not mistaken.

sorry you're right. I should've capitalized She.

I wouldn't want to worship a deity that would doom me to everlasting suffering just because I didn't believe in him. Sounds like kind of a jerk.
