R. Williams and the Lions O (1 Viewer)

I drafted Williams and Kitna. I wasn't really trying to get them they just happened to be the best available when I picked them. Kitna is a back up for me but I'll probably start Williams. Any news out of Detroit on how the offense is doing and Williams in particular?

No.

Training camp is off limits to fans, and the only news we get out of it is by slanted beat writers.

IMO he will be a main goal line option, along with Mike Williams. I'd like to just see Detroit move M. Williams to the TE position and be done with it. He'd eat alive any LB that was covering him, and it seems his natural weight is more TEish than WRish

 Being FAT does not mean you are more suited to being a TE. It means you are both too weak to block and too slow to get open.

I'm digging on Roy this season. I think he will be a silent killer and if KJ can put together a nice things would look even sweeter. No I'm not a homer.... Clev. fan actually. Just think there is a bundle of talent in Roy. Our draft is the 2nd and he is a sure target for me

I hope yo are right. It would be nice to hear some news out of the motor city though.

agreed...i haven't heard much of anything about KJ or ROY and the new martz era.....any inside scoop would certainly help as i think many of us are eyeing KJ and ROY as possible undervalued picks right now....

Roy has been ridiculously inconsistent -- a fantasy team's worst nightmare. He'll do nothing for 4 weeks, so you bench him , and then he catches 3 TD's in one week, only to revert back to no TD's when you start him again. He is the ultimate :wall: :wall:

Will not target him this year, and only select him if he falls very well below his ADP.

Not really sure what you're talking about here.Roy Williams from week 10 on (ppr):Week 10: 30 ffpWeek 11: 12 ffpWeek 12: 14 ffpWeek 13: 7 ffpWeek 14: 15 ffpWeek 15: 11 ffpWeek 16: 15 ffpWeek 17: 12 ffpEven the Marvin Harrison's and Chad Johnson's of the world throw up a 2-22-0 day. That is the life of a wide reciever.Williams looks to be even better this year with an NFL caliber QB and an offensive coordinator who loves to throw the ball.

Highly agree. And the guy throwing the ball has something to do with how consistent the numbers are, too.In addition to QB questions, the Lions were young/inexperienced and lacked discipline for most of 2005. So we've got a slight upgrade at QB, another year to become more professional, a disciplinarian head coach, and a new offensive mindset. I like Roy's chances.

I believe you are thinking of Lee Evans instead (but thats his QB's fault instead).

Kevin Jones missed yesterday's practice with a foot injury and is questionable for tomorrow's game. I've even read that he may not play at all, and that Bryson may start in his place.

Where did I say he was fat? Having a higher body weight doesn't necessarily mean you're fat.

You didnt say he was fat. Everyone else is saying hes fat. From your post, you look at his weight and see a TE, while I see a fat WR too weak to play TE, because his weight is fat, not muscle
