**Raiders at Chargers**(-10, 41) 4:25 (1 Viewer)

I kinda wonder if the Chip Kelly firing gives the Raiders a bit of a temporary boost this week. Not enough to win, but enough to not be a pushover. I think both teams QBs are in for a lot of sacks. IDP players are gonna be really with Maxx Crosby, Khalil Mack, and Tuli Tuipulotu.

I think goal #1 for the Raiders is gonna be get Ashton Jeanty going. and honestly, I think they'll be able to. I think pound Jeanty to set up PA to Bowers is gonna be the gameplan, the Chargers likely know that, but will they stop it?

I think Herbert will need to be running this week, but that may be good for his fantasy value. Raiders are particularly vulnerable to mobile QBs. No Omarion Hampton return this week, I think Kimani Vidal could have 1 last top-10 fantasy week. I think they'd be wise to keep him involved when Hampton returns. One thing the Raiders really suck at, is covering seam stretchers. Oronde Gadsden could really eat this week if Herbert has time to throw. I'll go out on a limb and say Gadsden is the Chargers leading receiver this week, though maybe McConkey edges him out in full PPR. I like Gadsden more for yards/TD.

Chargers-24
Raiders-17

Chargers off their bye
Made a change to their depleted o-line that could help a bit
I think The Home Team's defense wins the day in this one
With the way he's run this year if Justin has time to throw he could be fantasy gold this week
Raiders give a good effort but off their bye I think The Home Team takes it
so...

Los Angeles Chargers- 34

Las Vegas Raiders- 19

Can Herbert with no O-Line return to early season form?
No, but they better get it close to that against the Raiders as their finish to the season is brutal (PHI, KC, DAL, HOU, DEN). Looking like a possible lost season for the talented Chargers who have had some crucial injuries that may be too much to overcome. Really would had loved to see this offense all year with healthy protection.

The schedule appears tough
But right now Philly and KC are winnable games
Win today and a three game win streak is not out of the question

I do agree, but if they continue to protect like they did in the Jaguar game the Raiders have a shot at keeping this close. PHI/KC are beatable but also still plus opponents.
