Is CPepp expected to play tonight?

First-year Raiders coach Lane Kiffin stressed that all three of his veteran quarterbacks -- McCown, Andrew Walter and Daunte Culpepper -- will get equal snaps in the game. But it will be McCown, at least for this game, who will work with the first-unit offense (at least initially), and try to convince Kiffin and his staff that he should be the starter until Russell eventually signs and is groomed to compete for the No. 1 spot.

Getting to see the game now on late night replay ... generally pleased with the Raiders o-line so far ... starting unit = RT Green / RG Carlisle / C Grove / LG Gallery / LT Sims. Agree with massraider that Green isn't getting me too excited, but I much prefer Gallery at guard rather than tackle so far. Also, all of the TE time so far has been Miller and Madsen.

He had a terrible time in the 4th quarter against Tollefson and Moses. Brown would hold his own on one play and get beat badly on the next. That's really not good enough. He was getting a lot of help from TE and fullback on his better plays. This went on for three straight drives.

Raider corner Chris Johnson is having a rough night ... dropped a easy jump ball INT opportunity in the 1st Q, Bryant Johnson made him look silly on a 15-yard stop in the 2nd Q, and then Johnson beat him again on the post that resulted in the long ARZ TD. He's down the depth chart to begin with, but isn't making much of a case for himself.

EDIT: I was wrong when I first wrote Griffith had received the early FB work. Crockett was indeed the FB for the 1st Q, though at least half of the formations used were FB-less single back sets. Griffith entered in the 2nd Q.

Quentin Moses started and has been on the field all night but so far has looked tentative. Jay Richardson, on the other hand has been shown much more motor in fewer chances.

Johnnie Lee Higgins was back to return most of the punts and then KO's late in the game, Chris Carr was back on punt and kickoff return to start.

2nd O-line group (came in with Walter in mid 2nd Q) = LT McQuistan, LG Morris, C Newberry, RG Boothe, RT Henderson

By the way, how did Ron Curry play? I see he only had one catch for 1 yard. Probably only played a couple of series I assume.
