DJ Hackett

Santonio Holmes

How would you rank them in a standard re-draft league, no PPR? and why...

Glenn is nursing a hammy and is getting old-

Hackett could end up #1 WR in Seattle- I'm not sold on Branch

Jennings will be involved- GB has a bad running game.

Holmes - Turned it on at the end of the season, will be #1 WR in Pittsburgh the season Big Ben becomes an elite fantasy QB.

Jennings - Was having a good rookie year until his injury, now healthy, he should have 1000 yard season.

Stallworth - Brady spreads the ball, but Stallworth should get his, plus he should be getting lots of single coverage. Playing for a contract should help.

Hackett - Not a big fan, but he gets this spot by default.

Glenn - The only reason he put up decent seasons was because Bledsoe loves him, check his numbers after Romo was the starter.

I'm starting to buy into the Hackett hype.

Great call on Glen's numbers with Romo. I'm avoiding him, although, I remember the last time Wade Phillips had a #2 WR that turned to gold....PP.

I just did, and it looks like you're wrong. I threw out week 7, because that's when Romo came in at halftime. I started with week 8, after Tony had a week to practice with the starters. I also included the playoff game versus SEA, and threw out week 10, which Glenn missed with an injury. So for weeks 8-18 (minus week 10) Glenn's stats:45 catches710 yards3 TDThat's in 10 games, and if you prorate that to a 16 game season, you get:72 catches1,136 yards5 TD (it actually comes to 4.8, but I rounded up)I'm not sure if this production is better or worse than what he would have done if Bledsoe was QB the whole year, but to say that his stats went way down when Romo took over is simply not correct.

redraft as of today...

Jennings - Best situation of them all, Favre could throw the ball 600 times this year with that putrid running game

Holmes - Big Ben in for a monster year, Holmes will be a beneficiary

Hackett - slightly unproven but all signs point to a very good season in an offense that will produce good numbers

Glenn - knee injury/surgery this close to the season is a big red flag

Stallworth - too inconsistent and Brady will focus on better targets than him

To add to the analysis, for the first 5 games (throwing out week 7 for the same reason as above, and a week 3 bye, Terry Glenn had:25 catches337 yards3 TDsProrated to a 16 games you get:80 catches1078 yards10 TDsHard to draw any conclusion. Maybe Bledsoe would look for Glenn more and use TO as a decoy in endzone situations (which is what it seemed like early last year).

I agree with this assessment.Jennings & Holmes are young rising WR's where the WR#1 is aging and often injured. Both have the potential to step in as WR#1. Hacket has good potential, but it's just potential at this point. Jennings and Holmes have already shown good ability and just need more time.

Greg Jennings - Favre will throw a ton as had been said. He targeted him as much as Driver when he was healthy.

Santonio Holmes - This kid's ADP will be much higher next year because he will be great this year. I like that.

DJ Hackett - Will get a lot of looks.

Donte Stallworth - Too many options. They spread it around to early.

Terry Glenn - Old WRs that miss the preseason with injuries scare me.

I'm getting a little leary of Jennings due to James Jones coming on so strong this preseason. Is Jennings firmly the #2 wr and am I reading too much into it?

You're reading too much into it. Jones great camp means that they can part ways with Bob Ferguson. JJ won't be taking the #2 position.

Holmes - New offense with aging #1 WR

Jennings - Was tareted often before injury

Stallworth - No NE WR ever shines

Hackett - Starter in a West Coast offense

Glenn - Too old, injury prone, bad attitude with no Parcells

Greg Jennings - Favre spreads the ball

Donte Stallworth - Could get some long ones fron Brady who spreads the ball out.

Santonio Holmes - showed signs of being good. Healthy Ward could hurt.

DJ Hackett - Healthy? #1?

Terry Glenn - Owens needs the ball

I don't understand what belongs in the advice forum and what goes in the Shark Pool.

I've had much less advice oriented posts moved from the Shark Pool.

:scared: Jennings and Holmes are just about equal for me.At this point I almost like the guys immediately behind Stallworth and Glenn on their teams more than them ADP considered and all.
