Who's available:

Ty Montgomery, M. Bryant, Darkwa, John Brown, Dion Lewis, Corey Davis, Ivory, H. Henry

I'm leaning toward Lewis or Montgomery.

I'd drop ASJ. Should I also drop Aaron Jones for anyone else?

Standard 10 team league. I have #5 waiver.

QB - Palmer

RB - Hunt, Ajayi, Kamara, Coleman, Aaron Jones

WR - A. Brown, T.Y. Hilton, Thielen, D. Parker, Garcon

TE - J. Graham, ASF

IR - Luck

The only one I would drop Jones for would be for Monty but the gain is negligible unless Monty totally becomes the bell cow again. With Jones I would just hold him and trade ASJ for Monty.

With Rodgers out maybe they rely more on passes to Monty?

I'm torn whether to pass and save the waiver this week though I wouldn't keep 2 TE and I don't think anyone would see value in ASJ trade.

He meant swap ASJ (drop) for Monty (on waivers), not a trade.  Yeah, in a 10 team league with Hunter Henry on waivers, there's no reason to keep rostering 2 TEs.  But since your primary TE is Graham, I'd almost rather have two and play matchups.  Or see if anyone in your league just really likes Graham (you never know) and trade him to them and then go grab Hunter Henry as your starter.

To your original question, I would hold Jones until we get a better idea of what he and Monty's roles are going to be with Hundley under center (and a week to prepare with Hundley as the starter).  Monty could very well become the check down guy for BH, or the Packers could decide they need to lean on more of a power run game with Jones to take pressure off BH.  I'd drop ASJ for Monty so you have both chips, and hopefully we'll get some clarity on their usage this weekend.

Ok, so between Monty and Darkwa, you'd rather pick up Monty?

Correct.  I think the Denver game was an aberration for Darkwa and the Gmen as a whole.  We've seen him before, we know the NYG offense is going to struggle without their receivers.  Yes they looked good against Denver but "any given Sunday"...no way they lost 5 in a row with their best receivers and somehow get better after they go down.  Monty has the better track record.  It's hard to say which is the better offense now:  Packers with lots of weapons, but Hundley, or Eli, but minimal weapons.  I'd lean Monty just because one game doesn't make me trust Darkwa
