No way is Herrimans the 30th ranked guard.

If he was, there would be no way the Eagles would sign him to a five-year, $16 million deal with a $5 million signing bonus.

I placed the top OLG's in order with their corresponding OLTs side-by-side. Interesting, only two teams (highlighted in BLUE) had a top ten ranked OLG and OLT.

I combined the OLG and OLT positional rankings side-by-side

I think Hamilton is ranked a bit too low. He is probably the best OG technique wise in the league. Granted his lack of size hurts him, but not enough to 10th.

I'm no expert, but I'd say Jason Brown is probably at least up to the middle of the pack. Playing next to Ogden certainly helps, but the left side was rock solid all year last year, particularly in pass blocking. If he was that far down the list relative to his peers, the Ravens would have had much more troubles there.

The fact that you have him so far behind Mulitalo, with whom the Ravens gladly parted ways to let Brown start this year is, shall we say, interesting. Certainly $ had something to do with it, but I never heard of them even trying to get Edwin to stay at a lower price. They wanted Brown to start.

I'd be tempted to say they should switch places.

I am baffled...you are two for two in grossly underestimating the Eagles O-line. Homerism aside, you do realize that PHI is widely regarded as having one of the top lines in the NFL, right? Herremans may not be an elite LG, but he's easily among the top third. LOFL that you have Andrew Whitworth that high and Justin Blalock  ...seriously?

I could see him being some higher, but not much. I don't really have any quibble with any ranking that has him anywhere between 5th and 10th. His technique is amazing, but he really lacks that nasty killer instinct that Nalen and Lepsis have. He's too passive to be truly elite.

No offense, but I think your rankings stink. Please stop and leave it to scouts/professionals. Not trying to flame and I appreciate the effort, but it's no good.

Joe Thomas has yet to play a down in the nfl yet he is listed ahead of Marvel Smith, a bonafide pro bowler? :bag:

22 is more or less a good ranking for an untested guy like Todd Wade who is learning a new position. Be prepared to adjust this as we get more info of how is play is going once they put on pads.
