Rankings vs Rate My Team (1 Viewer)

First Time Poster so this may be a dumb question, but...

I'm using the Top 300 Draft List in my mock drafts and afterwards I use Rate My Team to see how I can improve to get ready for my real draft. I'm confused; are there discrepancies between the two? For instance, the Top 300 (from 8/11) has Kyler Murray as QB1, but Rate My Team states that he'll suffice because he's QB4. And there are many more examples... What am I doing wrong?

My guess is that the top 300 draft list is kind of a generic draft list and the rate my team may use more updated info............or it could be the other way around.  Both items should be used as a basic guideline or a general feel about a team.  They don't have to match.
