Keep in mind this is a 12 team H2H, POINTS league with weekly lineups. We keep 5 players so my keepers were in bold:

C- Santana

1B- Goldschmidt

2B- Walker

3B- Sandoval

SS- Castro

IF- Encarnacion

OF- JUpton

OF- Cruz

OF- Jennings

UT- Heyward

SP- Grienke, Kennedy, Luebke, Cueto, Nicasio, Minor

RP- Marshall, Sale

Bench- Boesch, Moustakas, Norris, Bauer, Capuano, Colon

Not a fan of the offense. Goldy, Walker, and Encarnacion are all a lot worse than what your competition will toss out there each week. Problem is there aren't any rock solid strengths to offset them either. Like the pitching staff, especially because you have so many but the offense really looks like a problem.Maybe see if you can flip J Up for a top 1B or 2B then slide Boesch into the lineup? Then if Moose blows up you'll only have one weak spot each week.

thanks. most of the good infielders were kept. i just missed morse in the third round. otherwise i just took best player available which happened to be outfielders. the three you mentioned happened to be the last three starters i drafted. people are pitching crazy in this league so ill just wait a few weeks and flip a pitcher for an infielder. im not trading jup. i have a hardon for him.

Overall I'd say you have too much pitching depth. If you league is pitcher crazy as you said, I'd definitely try to unload 2-3 of them for better bats. Personally I'd try and trade Cueto, as he's due for some serious regression to the mean imo.

I'd also be very tempted to pick up Kelly Johnson and use him instead of Neil Walker.

you should have at least backed up goldsmith. there has to be a decent 1b eligible player still on the wire. i also hate walker. unless you have a dominant team and are just looking for someone who wont hurt you, he's really not worth much. id rather take a chance on kipnis/ackley/roberts... hell, id probably even roster beckham and hope for a breakout.

All the good 1B were kept. Only good ones remaining were Konerko (who went in the first rd before my pick) and Morse. In hindsight I shouldve taken Morse in the 3rd but was nervous due to the injury. I was hoping he would slip to the 4th but alas went 5 picks before me. Morales also went in the 4th round, 2 picks before me. So I just kept drafting outfielders and pitchers. Kipnis & Ackley went VERY early. Much earlier than I had hoped. I was targeting Kipnis but honestly dont see much of a difference between him and Walker. Walker should be the cleanup hitter and drove in 80 runs last year. Remember this is a pts league so HRs & SBs arent as magnified.I agree Im weak at 1B. I will try and rectify.

Don't trust that ankle, I understand you love J Up but it's a lot easier to find OF's than 1B's. If someone is as hard up for him as you are your team would be better with a Prince, Votto, or A Gone in tow.Otherwise you're probably going to find it hard to fix 1B. Only possibility is combining Goldy with a stronger arm and shoot for Morse or Konerko. I think the stud 1B scenario is both more likely and better for your team.

I realize where I made my biggest mistake. I drafted Heyward in the 10th ahead of Freddie Freeman. In hindsight, I sholdve taken Freeman instead of filling my UT slot. dummy. i asked the freeman drafter if hed be interested in a swap and he said no.

Hochevar drives me insane, I just don't want any part of him until he does it for a full season. He'll have a good start. Or 4 good starts. Or a solid few innings. Then inexplicably implode. One game sticks out last year, he had a perfect game through 5 against the Indians pitching absolutely lights out. Then he got squeezed on a pitch. Then one of his infielders booted a ball letting a hit through. Then he balked. Then he proceeded to just started throwing and forgot how to pitch. Had another balk, 3 extra base hits, and 3 walks before being pulled.

He has the stuff, but his head is a mess I want no part of.
