**Ravens at Browns** (+8.5, 45.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Whelp, the hope for the #1 is gone.
Man this team is different with Watson just not in there.
Granted, browns shoulda lost this game 5 times over considering all the drops by ravens receivers and DBs

Will Baltimore be a little flat? After having a 41-17 lead vs the Bucs before some window dressing made that a lot closer than it really ever was on MNF
Winston will actually help the Browns move the football a little and I could see the Ravens having some problems for a bit this week

2nd Half they pull away, Henry makes all teams look good and this will put the Ravens at 6-2 after dropping their first 2 games of the season
Ravens schedule will get more challenging in coming weeks, they seem to take care of business

Ravens 28...Browns 20 in a slightly more competitive game than some would think
And the Browns actually win the game, i took them +8.5 and I was just hoping for a back door cover
Tough loss for the Ravens with a tough schedule ahead but remains 5-3

Picked up Tillman and decided to roll the dice on him over a few other guys when Higgins was out.

Got Tillman in a FFPC dynasty league for $1 when I figured I had no one to cut so I just bid $1 assumed I would not get him he went for over $200 in my others.

Won him and sent a couple other dudes packing so I could keep him and then activated Hockenson.

Crazy

If Tucker didn't miss the 50 yarder he would had a shot to win it from 42. Tucker is way off this year.
No, that changes the score late if the Ravens have an extra 3. I doubt the Browns are going for 2 with a minute left if they are up by only 2.

The owner and GM have to be hating this Jameis performance. Total 🙂 show
...GM?
Berry was GM for the Watson trade, no?
He was.
2023: Watson = awful; Flacco = winning
2024: Watson = worse than awful; Jameis = winning.

To keep starting Watson looks bad for GM and owner. They’re pot committed and couldn’t bring themselves to fold, even though they knew they were beat.

Sorry, not getting it.

There is no evidence available indicating forcing Watson was a GM decision.
Ah, I see. Is there any talk/evidence his hand was forced, too?
Evidence? No. Talk, nothing credible (yet), but given this owner's history I'd be surprised if there wasn't meddling. Would love to see this blow up in his face, resulting in empowering Berry / Stefanski more going forward.

Why DTR was #2 last week is beyond me that might have cost Browns a shot to beat Bengals no one will ever know.

I don't think last week was happening no matter the backup. This offense has been going through the motions because they knew they had no shot. That's why everything was as sloppy as we've seen. Needed a week of reps to knock that out of them.
