RB Blake Corum, LAR (1 Viewer)

I'm currently rostering both Corum & Ray Davis in my (3 year) keeper league and am considering dropping either for E. WIlson.

The lean is toward dropping Corum though as he's literally done nothing and I fear even with a Kyren injury, Corum isn't gonna be "The Guy"
I'd keep Corum and Davis over Wilson. Lloyd is coming back, which would muddy Wilson's situation. I see a more straightforward path to upside with Corum/Davis.

I haven't heard anything about when Lloyd might be returning. Not doubting you or anything, but do you happen to have an idea when that might be? Everythig I've seen still says "indefinitely"

I don't know. My guess is in a few weeks. I'd check out X or google and see what you can find.

I picked this guy up as a major dart throw. It sounds like he finally got some action this week and beat out Rivers who was RB2 before. Hopefully momentum can continue for him.

I still feel like if Kyren were to miss time, Corum could be a league winner.

Just saw him on the sideline in a sling. At least that makes some sense as to why he isn't in there (not that his lack of reps the rest of this season did, though).

McVay offenses are notoriously complex (Puka was a massive outlier) so his quiet rookie season isn't THAT concerning to me.

Corum is a favorite end of draft flier for me.

Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur said the “plan is to split those up a little bit and distribute” when asked about Kyren Williams’ workload on Wednesday.
“He’s made of all the right stuff. He’s done everything we’ve asked of him, not that we even have to ask too much of him because he’s wired the right way. I thought he had a good preseason. Obviously, we left him out of that third game right there. He’s had a really good training camp. He’ll get his opportunities come Week 1,” LaFleur said about the second-year back from Michigan. Corum probably doesn’t have standalone value at the start of the season, and coaches talk about splitting reps more evenly all the time. But it’s worth monitoring Corum’s workload early in the season to see if he can make a real dent in Kyren Williams’ fantasy value.

Tough thing about Corum in dyanasty is he's basically the same age as Kyren. That 3-year extension for Kyren dampened my hopes of Corum getting a shot unless of injury or trade. Addition of 22 year old Hunter didn't help either. Tough hold.

Facing exactly this situation (tough hold) in my Keep 13 league where I need to drop 1 player in order to add a kicker before week 1. (I’m hoping one of my bench players can be placed on IR for the week). I already shipped off Shipley to the Barkley owner for a 4th, and now I have to chose between Corum (KWilliams owner isn’t interested in a trade), Ray Davis (Cook owner doesn’t seem interested in a trade), Giddens (I roster JTaylor), Blue (I roster JWilliams) and Kirk/Meyers/Kyle Williams as well but want to keep them all.

Looking like Corum is lowest man on the totem pole at this point. Thoughts?

Kyren is a decent injury risk IMHO. These smaller backs don't last forever.

Corum could be a nice buy low or even a waiver pickup if the owner gets bored/impatient. Corum is a good RB with a superior pedigree.

Sorry. I meant lowest man on the totem pole on MY a roster and among my choices for my final roster cut. Thoughts with that in mind?

I'm not a Kirk believer for dynasty purposes. Low ceiling.

If the league is WR heavy than Corum is a reasonable cut.

Thanks. The league is a QRWWWFKD lineups, so we’re only forced to start 1 RB (we’re adding mandatory TE next year, finally, and I have Bowers ready to roll). I’m an old school RB horder ;) so I have a bunch (JTaylor/Giddens, Hampton, JWlliams/Blue, Tuten, Davis, Corum). WRs are Lamb, Olave, Bowers (til TE-mandatory kicks in), Golden/Reed, Kirk, Meyers, Kyle Williams. So I feel pretty solid on both the RB and WR side of things.
Sorry for the WDIS post. Appreciate thoughts from the board.

ETA: I’ll move this to the Dynasty Value thread for a more general player value discussion.
