RB Kenneth Walker III - SEA (2 Viewers)

Officially off the injury report. Being cleared this early does make me think he's ready to start. If it was still iffy, they'd bring it up to game time. Tough defense though but Walker I think is a top 5 RB this year.

Gonna be a long Sunday morning thinking about this.

I'm sitting him in the one league I have him (though I have Achane, Conner, A. Jones there) but I doubt he's eased in much.

I have read some internet chatter that Charbonnet earned a bigger touch share based on how he played during Walker's absence, and that makes no sense to me. Charbonnet was a good FANTASY RB, because of his big workload and having TDs, but NFL wise, he is averaging just 3.5 YPC. I'd be downright shocked if Walker didn't have at least a 2-1 touch edge.

Week 1, Walker had 20 carries and 3 targets while Charbonnet had 8 carries and 3 targets. I'd expect something along those lines. Charbonnet is not going to be cut out but he's not getting 10+ carries unless Walker gets hurt again.

And many of those touches came late after Walker left the game with the injury.

Charbs looked dynamite last week and then got out-touched 16 to 7 as soon as Walker was healthy to play.

Says a lot about how the coaching staff (still) views these guys.

Benching him was a HUGE mistake on my part
I started him everywhere. Once they gave the all-clear on Friday that was all I needed.

Started 6 out of 7 places I have him.

His health was not a factor in sitting him in the league I did. Was a huge mistake of course but just liked the other options more. That same league I had Swift and Chase Brown on my bench. Oof, my bench whipped my starters.

Subbed him in as well where I own him once they fully removed the injury designation.

Tried to acquire him in my other leagues while injured too with no luck :kicksrock:

For me it was facing the league’s best run defense and coming off a multi-week injury. I knew he had a 2-TD game against them last year but I ignored it. I knew better and yet I didn’t. As the saying goes, “Never bench your studs.”
