RBs and Flex Wk16 Start/Sit Help (1 Viewer)

I am in a small 4 man league so every team is loaded with studs. Currently I am down 29 points thanks to Davante Adams lol and Barkley not producing. I am trying to decide my two running backs and my flex position, which I am leaning towards using a third RB (could place Mike Evans for my flex instead but I think my RB options are better).

Full PPR league

Current RBs are Gibbs, Barkley, Achane, and Chase Brown. I know this sounds crazy but I was planning on benching Barkley.
1. My opp has Hurts so I will be losing out on any TDs if they get to anywhere close to the 5 yard mark
2. Barkley's only TDs come from long runs which aren't I can't bank on to happen, especially if he is hurt
3. Eagles are starting to emphasize the passing game more
4. Barkley gets the least amount of passing targets compared to my other three RBs, which are valuable in my PPR league

I know he has the best upside but his floor seems a little lower when not getting a TD and not being as involved in the passing game. Also all my RBs have decent matchups for wk16

Again I know this sounds crazy but this league is smaller compared to my others I am in. Definitely want other opinions cause I am probably overthinking this.

I would monitor practice reports. Gibbs is now your RB1, and I’d play Achane at RB2 and Brown at Flex if I had to set a lineup today

Yeah that's how I have it currently. Would you go with that lineup even if Barkley is healthy? Also have Evans who is chasing 1k yards. Only reason I was using Brown over him is because he is involved a good bit in the passing game.

I assume this is a two week matchup. Being down 29 pts is an issue but I don't know how big an issue. Is the score 250 to 280 or is it 75 to 45? That matters a lot as to the meaningfulness of the 30 pt deficit.

That being said, I assume it is a big deal so you need upside to make up the gap. You mentioned Evans as an option and I would think he has to be in because of his upside and going against the Cowboys. Great matchup for him. After that it's just coin flips. I would say Gibbs is a must start with no Monty but Achane, Barkley, & Brown are all toss ups. I probably stick with Barkley (assuming he is healthy). As you mentioned Hurts does vulture but on the other side if Barkley scores from distance it prevents Hurts from scoring. It improves the value of Barkley's points which by being down 30 is probably needed.

Currently 169 to 140. My WRs are Chase and Puka. Would it be worth subbing Evans in for for Puka? I would then use my flex spot for a RB still. Or keep both Chase and Puka but Evans as the flex?

I would go with the three WR's especially in a PPR (although all your RB's do get receptions as well). These kind of dilemmas are why I am not a fan of small leagues. There really isn't much skill as everything really is a coin flip and you just hope your stud has a studly day otherwise you are losing.
