We are hearing the Eddie George comparisons to SJax this year but what will happen to his receptions this year?

Eddie George had 30 to 40s a catches in year under him...do we except less catches for SJax this year?

Not seeing any reason to make much adjustment for SJax here.

In Eddie's prime under fisher, he was anywhere in the 40, 45, 50 range. Jackson is typically in the 45 range. Everything zen.

I think there's reason to be optimistic about a possible TD spike for Jackson, based on a combo of factors (Fisher history, better offense this year, few redzone alternatives, etc.), but I wouldn't bet on much different totals rushing or receiving. Guy's the model of consistency, AND seems to fit with what Fisher has done historically.

In 8 years under Fisher, Eddie George averaged 33 rec/yr. Jackson has average 46 rec/yr in his career. Given that Jackson has always been a strong receiver and Eddie really only excelled in that dept in his prime years, I don't expect to see any dropoff in SJax's receptions this year. I wouldnt expect anything crazy (50+ catches), but i think expecting SJax to hit 45 rec's this year is reasonable

Did you look at Chris brown as starter? Or lendale? Or Johnson?

The offense Eddie was in with McNair was very different than the offense that seems to be coming along in st Louis. For starters, they moved the pocket a ton with McNair under center and threw short to the middle of the field (TE and slot) and deep to the outside (mason, pickens, dyson, etx). With vince they threw more deep to the middle and short to the outside.

My guess is that they will use a lot of shotgun with bradford since he did that a lot in Tennessee. I also doubt they will move the pocket nearly as much.
