RBs vs. WRs (1 Viewer)

I have the #11 pick in a one keeper league (Lamont Jordan is my keeper). My league gives extra points for distance tds, with the league set up I am thinking about going WR, WR with my top 2 picks. This is a stratagey that no on else uses so I know that some of the top WRs will be there with my first two picks.

I am looking at a WR group with much more value like Fitz, TO, Harrison and Moss than say JLewis, Kevin Jones, FWP. Am I the only one who thinks this makes complete sense?

You're right. Go after elite WRs after the top RBs go off the board. You'll probably be able to get someone just as good as KJones in the 5th round or later.

Not exactly brain surgery...You're talikng the 23rd overall pick. Who is left at the RB spot that is a reciever. Not much different than than going WR/WR at 23/26.

Teams that are WR dominated tend to have much worse records than their total points scored would indicate. This is because WRs score in bunches and lay eggs other time. The result is that these teams have some impressive wins but also a lot of automatic loses due to inconsistency. Jordan is one of the more inconsistent backs so that is going to magnify the problem if you go WR WR. I strongly suggest you take a RB with one of those picks even if you are not thrilled with any of the choices. Fitz and TO probably won’t be there anyway. Pick 47 is way too late to be taking your 2nd RB when you don’t have one of the big 3.

I'd go Holt / Smith with your 1/2.

LJ is a solid RB1 and you can load up with RBs later.
