If I understand this thread, you are looking for RB's who will get most of the regular work and also get 3rd down & goalline duty. The players in bold are the one's I expect to fullfill those criteria (used FBG's top 25 RB's for the list):
LaDainian Tomlinson, SD - yes, all RB duties
Steven Jackson, STL - yes, all RB duties
Larry Johnson, KC - yes, all RB duties
Frank Gore, SF - yes, all RB duties (despite depth chart listing Robinson as 3rd/short yardage back)
Brian Westbrook, PHI - yes, all RB duties...may lose some goalline, but not likely.
Willie Parker, PIT - not 100% of his status, but current news is that they want him to.
Shaun Alexander, SEA - tends to get pulled on passing situations (usually Mack Strong in 3rd down)
Joseph Addai, IND - yes, all RB duties
Travis Henry, DEN - yes, all RB duties
Rudi Johnson, CIN - tends to get pulled on passing situations.
Reggie Bush, NO - not an everydown back and Duece will get some goalline work as well. (RBBC)
Laurence Maroney, NE - Kevin Faulk listed as 3rd down back.
Clinton Portis, WAS - will most likely lose 3rd downs and some goalline to Betts (possible RBBC)
Maurice Jones-Drew, JAX - not an every down back (RBBC)
Willis McGahee, BAL - probably gets all situations, but might lose passing down duties.
Edgerrin James, ARI - some threat to lose goalline, but no real backup has emerged to take it away.
Ronnie Brown, MIA - yes, all RB duties
Cedric Benson, CHI - yes, all RB duties
Thomas Jones, NYJ - Washington listed as 3rd down back
Adrian Peterson, MIN - RBBC and he may even have the backseat to start the season.
Deuce McAllister, NO - RBBC with Bush will lose some goalline and all passing downs
Cadillac Williams, TB - Pittman listed as 3rd down back
Brandon Jacobs, NYG - will share time with Droughns, but get all goalline and most 3rd down/passing duties.
Marshawn Lynch, BUF - full blown RBBC with Anthony Thomas
Ahman Green, HOU - Lundy listed as 3rd down back
