We ran two separate leagues with the same owners.. different drafts for each league . ran playoffs week 14, league Championships week 15, with the winners facing off in the "super bowl" in week 16.

Was a ton of fun, but a nightmare to commish so only lasted one season :kicksrock:

No, but it could be interesting.

Do you total the scores or let people create "super teams"? Prevent trading with yourself?

I think it could be fun to give prizes to both the top single team and best combo.

Has anyone ever played in a league where everyone owns 2 teams in 2 separate divisions / conferences?
I could actually see where this would have been viable before the internet. Where maybe one's location or just overall lack of acquaintances required this kind of thing. If I had no internet and only had like 3-4 friends I could round up this would be a great idea.

I do this.  Three years in, going well.

Six friends, casual dynasty league.  Wanted to play, but not with loaded-roster 6-team leagues.

Two conferences, each owner has a team in each.  No trading with yourself, and you don't play yourself, leaving five crossconference games.

Your teams do indirectly help each other....a strong team gets to play the other team's conference rivals but your team doesnt.  We have had one season where the same owner's teams faced each other in the Super Bowl.  Fun week for that guy.

You could do one league with only NFC players and one league with only AFC players. Would have to max the teams at 8 I think.

Sucks when a player gets traded. Or could anyway.
I once ran an "introductory FF league" featuring 3 teams and only drafting players from one division.

The rule was if you had a guy traded/signed out of division you could keep using him as long as he was on your roster, but if you ever cut him, you couldn's sign him back.
