Rebuilding a team I took over (1 Viewer)

I took over a team in a SF TE premium league. My QB's are J. Daniels, Tua, and Justin Fields. I have only 1 RB, Rico Dowdle. WR's include D. London, Rashee Rice, DJ Moore, G. Pickens, Deebo, Keon Coleman and a bunch of WR 4's. I own rookie picks 1.02, 1.12, 2.02, and 2.04. I've been offered Jonathon Taylor for Rashee. The owner also offered his 1.11 pick instead of JT but I feel that is a little light. I was planning on taking Hampton at 1.02, but if I trade for JT, I can take Ward, then extort the QB needy guys at 1.04 and 1.06 to trade for Fields or Tua. The problem is I don't know these owners' tendencies since I just joined. They might not be willing to do a fair deal. The guy who owns 1.04 and has zero starting QB's on his roster offered me his 3.04 for Fields, so he is obviously living in fantasy land and the guy who offered JT also owns 1.06. I feel like he is targeting Dart there since R. Wilson is one of his QB's. So, JT and Cam Ward with a possible trade of Tua or Fields to get back into round 1 for Henderson or Quinshon, or just take Hampton and see who's there at the turn. JT has 2 years left on his contract and they drafted DJ Giddens in the 5th. When I type it all out, I'm leaning toward taking JT, drafting Ward, and grabbing best WR available with one of my 3 picks at the turn. If you made it this far, congratz. Thoughts?

What are your lineup requirements? Knowing how many RB's you must start will influence some of the decisions you laid out above. Be careful regarding "extorting" your fellow owners as planning on taking a player or doing something strictly for turning around and trading an asset usually doesn't become as fruitful as you hope.

No matter what I would probably trade Rice for Taylor. It helps your needs and doesn't really hurt your overall roster.

I am not a Cam Ward guy so not sure I would force him at 1.02. Again, this somewhat depends on your starting requirements. I also don't think you are going to get much of a return for either Tua or Fields. Both have huge risks and may not be playing long. Nobody is giving up a 1st rounder for those guys. Maybe Tua if they aren't scared off by concussions but Fields isn't going to fetch that.

Any chance the guy at 1.01 takes Ward? I have seen strange things in SF drafts sometimes.
