Recent history of Moss week 3 (1 Viewer)

Just checked on this as I have owned Moss most of the recent seasons and I remember week 3 being a breakout week.

2009 v ATL 10 for 116 (after 4 for 24 @Jets)

2008 (cassel) v MIA 4 for 25

2007 v BUF 5 for 115 2 TDS

I doubt anyone is benching him but I think this is the week be breaks out. 2 out of 3 going for over 115, 2 out of 2 with Brady.

Why you felt compelled to post this is curious, but in 4 games against Buffalo the Moss and Brady connection has put up 32-454-7.

It's recent history on a 1st round player who has yet to post a great game. Thought people might find it relevant.

I'll be happy if he cracks 80 yards receiving, something he hasn't done in his last 10 games.

I think it's a nice way to remind folks not to panic about Moss' slow start. He'll get his. And it could start this week against a team he typically has owned.

I'm not sure the fact that it's WEEK 3 will have any bearing on anything. If you point was to review how Moss has done after being held to under 60 receiving yards in back-to-back games while in New England, well then you'd REALLY be on to something . . .2009 TEN 8-129-32008 SFO 5-111-12008 MIA 8-125-32008 OAK 5-67-22007 MIA 4-122-22007 PIT 7-135-2

see this was a worthwhile thread. I happen to think Moss is traditionally a slow starter, but just for fun let's do after Revvis from 200910-1163-67meh, that one sucked

Amazing with all the threads we've seen lately this is the one that gets questioned
I'm with you. Not sure what the issue is with this thread. Week 3 has been good to Moss as you point out. Moss has typically done well after back-to-back 60-yard games as David points out. Moss has typically owned the Bills. Seems like you could toss any number of stats out there and it all points to this being a potentially good week for Moss to get back on track.

Trust me, I questioned all the other ones. I just found it odd that the specific game number had much to do with anything.Kinda like saying Moss has done well against all the bird teams (Eagles, Ravens, Seahawks, Cardinals, Falcons) so because he was playing a bird team again he would have to do well.

Dude, you honestly saying that week 3 is a bigger stretch than back-to-back games @NE under 60 yards as a data point?
