Red lobster (1 Viewer)

There is one down the road from my home.  I was thinking of going there with my girl this weekend. I generally avoid chain places and I've never been there but I love seafood.

any good?

It's ok, nothing special seafood-wise.  However, I do really like their garlic cheese biscuits - those bastards are tasty as hell.

It's fine. Everything comes with lots of butter so you cant really go wrong with crab/lobster has drawn butter. The cheddar biscuits are very good.

haven't been in about 20 years..   lobster is lobster, but I prefer to make my own-  away from the slobbering old people.. :D

You want to take her to Red Lobster after she had "gourmet" food?

No I just want to go out to eat this weekend because I cooked Christmas weekend

it was just a thought so I asked my consiglieres here

why is gourmet in quotes?
It means it has more salt in it than just about any other food making it seem better hence the quotes.

I don't cook with much salt

the only salty stuff were the cheeses and olives

i didn't use any additional salt in my gravy and macaroni, just a dash on the shrimp

Black people seem to love it.
So do white people.

There's nothing wrong with Red Lobster,  other than it's only decent food at mildly higher prices than should be expected for the quality. In the Midwest you're not getting top shelf seafood.

Admiral's Feast is my go-to order. And add 1/2 pound of crab legs.

I went there about a month ago after a long hiatus (my grandma loved the place) with a couple of friends and was pleasantly surprised.  The biscuits were good, the fried shrimp was done to perfection and the roasted baby brussel sprouts were excellent. The fresh grilled trout was also good. Someone in our party had a $50 AE gift card to make it even better.
