having divorced my dynasty league of 14 years from sheer burnout, I had intended to take a year off from fantasy football but of course the itch came back like Brett Favvvvvvvvvrrre. Like him, i'll go through the motions and cruise to a 13 win season while ignoring the coaches and pretending to pay attention in team meetings. However I just realized I haven't done a real draft in 15 years. The last draft I took Randall Cunningham as my QB, if that gives you a clue, I think Chris Warren was a one of my RB's....its been awhile.
I had a distinct game plan back then I recall I drafted based on my leagues scoring system which overvalued QB's and defenses so with my top 3 picks I got a top 5 QB, top 10 RB and #1 overall defense.
the choices aren't so clear cut these days. I'm planning on taking a RB first but then after that I'm really clueless as to what strategy I'll impose. This is a fun league no money, only 8 teams with 16 man rosters on ESPN standard scoring. Any strategy tips are appreciated.
