DTV subscriber who does not have Sunday Ticket (can't afford it) but got to enjoy a week of ST for free. Absolutely loved their version of the Red Zone channel....didn't watch any of the games until Sunday night, just stayed on RZ.Highly doubt DTV will allow us to watch NFL Channel's version but loved it the one day I had it. I really wish DTV would sell just their version of the RZ Channel instead of making us buy ST.

Awesome. I pretty much only watched RedZone all day. It was unbelievable. I switched to some games but RZ had everything I wanted to see. I love how the commentor would throw in "You can watch this on channel 714 but don't go there now. Its a commerical for Geico." Redzone is too freakin awesome. DTV knows that if they offered just RZ, they would never sell ST.

Suddenlink also started offering the NFL Network and the RedZone channel about 3 weeks ago, part of a settlement between the NFL and a group of cable providers.
What I don't get is the lack of fanfare about adding the NFL programming. There's been no e-mail alerts, no direct mail ads, not even a mention of it on my last cable bill. I only found it because I was looking for something else and stumbled across it by accident. I would have thought they would really have pimped out the NFL Network and RZ channel, especially the week or two before kickoff.
