Does this worry you? Has the time come to pick up Pierre Thomas now?

Well, I've been looking for an excuse to start Chris Johnson vs KC, but was having a hard time justifying benching Bush or Portis. I don't wish any ill will to Reggie, but it looks like CJ may be in the starting lineup this week.

Excellent backs my man.

Well crap I have Thomas in case of a Bush injury. So Stecker is the one that will get the playing time if Bush goes down? Can someone say that with 100% meaning? I can still grab Stecker in my salary cap dynasty..

The source article has a slightly different "vibe":

Tailback Reggie Bush missed practice with swelling in his left knee. Saints Coach Sean Payton said it's an issue that Bush has been dealing with from time to time this year, and the Saints have tried to manage his workload accordingly. He said Bush might also be out or limited during Thursday's practice, but it sounds like he's still expected to play in Sunday's game at Carolina.

I've been trying to deal Bush since the Minn game because I think he's at his peak value right about now. I don't think there is anyway he can keep up his current TD rate and the injury bug is now an additional concern. I also think he's a guy that defenses try to key in on and his targets will go down a bit with shockey and colston coming back.

As for inside info, I don't have much but I do think that Stecker would take over 3rd down duty over the frenchmen (Pierre) because he's a very good blocker and has good hands.

Has anyone traded him/traded for him and if so what are you getting in return?

He's the highest scoring runningback in my league by a pretty comfortable margin (pts for return yards). I really don't think the swelling is all that much to be concerned about. Westbrook has dealt with it for awhile; limits his reps during the week....good to go on Sunday. You point out that defenses may try to key on him but that will be difficult with the return of Colston & Shockey and the emergence of Moore. For me to trade him, it would take a king's ransom.

i also remeber him having this mentioned in preseason. hopefully a day off here and there and he is good to go on sundays.
