Reggie Bush - Take a Chance, Roll the Dice? Maybe now's the time. (1 Viewer)

Am I the only one that thought Bush looked noticeably different in the preseason game the other night? In New Orleans he always looked tiny, almost out of place on the field. In Miami the other night he actually looked more like a typical running back size-wise, he didn't standout as an outlier at all.

Additionally, he ran very well between the tackles. I always said that Bush going to New Orleans was the worst thing that ever happened to him (unlike most people who thought it was the perfect fit) because he was put into a position where he was told that his role was to get to the outside, and he forced that. That's not how he was used at USC. He was a typical, between the tackles runner and being used like a "normal" running back is the best thing for him.

According to Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald, Reggie Bush has appeared driven to prove himself as an every-down back in Dolphins camp.

"He's been, literally after practice, spending 45 minutes on his own (doing) different drills to get him to the point where he can handle a bigger workload," Darlington told PFT Live. "Where he can handle upwards of 15 carries per game." Darlington confirms that the Dolphins have offered Bush a feature-back role if he proves himself. "We haven't seen a whole lot from Daniel Thomas," added Darlington. "Daniel Thomas has not proven a thing. I think Daniel still has a ways to go. It looks as if Reggie will be the best guy."

Just a pass along- follow beatwriters on twitter to get information like this 2-3 weeks before rotoworld gets around to posting it. I was able to get Reggie in almost every league and very cheap prior to his pre-season stand out performance. Since then, his adp has jumped almost 3 rounds and I definitely would not be able to get him for Tashard Choice and a 3rd rd rookie pick today:)10 years ago, those of us on the Internet dominated the magazine crowd. Today, those of us on Twitter gain a marginal advantage on those who wait for FBG, rotoworld, etc. to give information. It's usually only a few hours to a few days but every advantage helps.

Yeah I decided to go into the twitter 'verse this off-season and it's been nice.. it's great being able to pick up on how certain players look at practice etc even. Information comes in quick and constant, and it becomes even more readily available if youve got twitter on your smartphone.I acquired Reggie where I could last month based on my original thoughts that I then posted here.. I hope people were able to acquire him when they could, because where originally Reggie was going in the 9th-10th rounds, I'm seeing him going in the 6th-7th now as you said

Reggie was a very very solid pickup, probably helped people win a few leagues the way he ended the year
