Reggie Bush? (1 Viewer)

Two carries for 2 yards in his second game as a phin. DThomas came in and has 5 carries for 51 yards. I realize there was talk of the hot hand by the coach, but how does he determine that with 2 touches by Reggie?

IDK, but its sad because several of us were thinking that Reggie Bush could be an every week start until he got hurt. If he is going to put up stinkers like this, it's difficult to have any faith in starting him. I'm sure it won't be this bad moving forward, but the possibility of games like this really kills his value.

Can we please wait until a game finishes before discussing this.

Earlier Larry Fitzgerald was a bust who then went on to record 7 for 130 odd with a TD

After we've finished and the sitaution is still the same, please try again

Anyone have any faith in him? Even if he goes for 100 combined and a touch next week, I can't accept the risk of putting him back in my lineup. If Bush was in your lineup, you probably have other options as well (cant imagine anyone went in to the year with him as an unquestioned starter). I will gladly start a low ceiling back over him from here on out.

Def a crushing blow...I tried to trade high this past week but ended up being a tad to greedy with what I wanted in return and didnt find the right fit. Figured id get another couple weeks of him getting 70% plus of the touches and then would deal then....ouch.

Yes...right now things are not looking bright. Who is going to trade anything for him at this point? How do you start him with any confidence? We have to see what the coaching staff says after this game, prob is they said it was a 70/30 split going into this game so we cant trust them either.

I sat AJ Green for Reggie today :)

I figured Thomas would eat into his touches but at least figured he would get 4/5 catches and help me as a flex in PPR.

I wanted something like 25 yards rushing + 5 catches/45 yards for 12 pts from my flex. Today was brutal.

Its not like Bush could have the workload of last week all season long. I think we pretty much no what to expect with Bush by this point in his career. Decent ppr rb and a ok backup in non ppr.

Except Sporano was insisting Bush would get 20 touches. I am almost positive that during the week there will be a quote to the effect of "we went away from our gameplan, we need to get Bush more touches, he'll still see 20 touches a game."Can anyone buy into that thought? Bush had 6 carries. Thomas went over 100. If Thomas takes the job I will almost be relieved because the temptation to use him will be gone.

Dont know what to make of this. Cant trust bush, cant trust sparano. So far only has good value if thomas is dinged up. I will wait for another good game and try to sell...

I don't get the dropoff in receptions. I can understand wanting to run the ball more with Thomas who was looking better....but only 1 target for Bush? That was just odd, especially with all of the 70/30 talk during the week.

hard to get receptions when youre standing on the sidelines

That's the point - why wasn't he being used in the passing game? Why the huge dropoff in playing time?

i drafted him late in ppr. still has some value as a RB3. We know who Reggie is. There was no way he was going to be a workhorse back.

He's pedestrian in the passing game.

It was one game. Thomas looked nothing like the back he was in pre-season. As a Fins fan I am very encouraged.

With Bush I have no doubt he will be used plenty this season. Again it was one game. But this coaching staff and Sprano in particular kill me. They are just mindboggling with their packages, play calling and gameday management.

I mean really....4th quarter and your trying to bait Houston into jumping off sides on 4th and 1 from inside your 30 and then instead of taking a delay because you know your going to punt you burn a precious timeout in a 7 point game?

Fire him. This is the NFL. WTF was that.

Enough already.

Completely agree. On that 4th and 1 play when they shifted to multiple wides and caught Houston with no safeties. The entire middle fo the field was wide open with a LB trying to cover Reggie in the slot. Instead of having faith in your offense (like WAS did with Grossman on 4th and 1 with game on the line) MIA went into a shell and called timeout in order to punt. Zero imagination on that offense.

LOL.........spoken like a Cal or Stanford fan that got tired of Reggie & USC kicking their heads in. BTW: I do not own Reggie.

Started Bush & Ingram in the league I have DWill benched. Where are :hawkscreeches: at now? :shark:
All three scored about the same; unless you were in a really tight game, I am not sure it mattered.Bush - 1 Good game; 1 Bad gameDWill - 2 Bad gamesIngram - most carries again on NO and getting the quality carries. He will get better as the season rolls along. He should not have been drafted to a starting RB in Week 1-2.Not sure what you are complaining about.

Many of us were pounding the table to sell after week 1. I don't think his value will ever be higher than last Tuesday.

Congrats to all who sold last week.

How in the world is Sparano a coach in the nfl, he is a complete clown. I honestly don't think he has any idea what the plan is going into gameday.
