I guess that's why they're sleepers, but being the 'Prime Cut' DB I thought we might have seen a little more today.

Didn't get to see the game; did he leave early or something? I know he returned a blocked field goal attempt by Hanson but obviously didn't score, so the big play was almost there.

There were a couple of thoughts that I mentioned in the article. I thought the Lions would be behind early due to their terrible defense. That was true. But I could not have predicted the Lions to run as much as they did since they were trailing big early. I also did not expect the Lions to run as effectively as they did, but that was probably because the defense was in prevent mode. I thought the Lions would have passed a lot more than they did. When they didn't, it pretty much took Nelson's tackle opportunities out of the game as well as any chance for turnovers. With a choice of a QB who practiced a grand total of 3 games, or a young QB who has never played, I expected some turnovers. At the very least, I figured Nelson would make some tackles and some passes defended. But the Lions running the ball as much as they did wiped that out. If you make enough picks over the course of the year, you will miss some, but I would pick him again if I had to redo the article. I could have never predicted the Lions running the ball as much as they did, which was the main reason Nelson did poorly in the stat column.

Without Henderson and Peterson, I would have thought there would be been some quality opportunities for him as well.

Yeah I think a lot of us missed the boat on this game for one reason or another; I stupidly took the under which ruined a great multibet I had going on.Thanks for the explanation.
