PFW had an article about the ten best FAs still available. Below is the link.

LINK

I have listed the named players. Does anyone have a feel for where these guys are going (or should go)?

1. Cato June, LB, Colts -- SIGNED WITH BUCS

2. Kevin Curtis, WR, Rams -- SIGNED WITH EAGLES

3. Ken Hamlin, S, Seahawks --SIGNED WITH COWBOYS

4. Ruben Brown, OG, Bears --SIGNED WITH BEARS

5. Kawika Mitchell, LB, Chiefs

6. LaVar Arrington, LB, ex-Giants

7. Robaire Smith, DT, Titans -- SIGNED WITH BROWNS

8. Mike Gandy, OG, Bills

9. Chris Draft, LB, Panthers -- SIGNED WITH RAMS

10. Anthony Adams, DT, 49ers --SIGNED WITH BEARS

11. Jerramy Stevens, TE, Seahawks

Other mentionable FA's:

Ron Dayne -- RESIGNED WITH TEXANS

Antonio Bryant

Chris Brown

Eric Moulds

Travis Taylor

Doug Jolley

My comments/thoughts:

T. Taylor: I would think the Titans would be interested. Also Philly, but only for a one year minimum deal.

C. Brown: I think Buffalo and Houston would be good fits. Oddly, given all that occurred last year and his demands, he may end up being a Titan.

E. Moulds: Another vet in Atlanta might be possible, but the WRs are overcrowded and he doesn't play special teams. I thought he did ok in Houston. New Orleans might work out, but watch for McCardell to fill the veteran role -- given his past history with Brees.

Special case: Jerramy Stevens, TE, Seahawks

My comments/thoughts:

C. June: Probably stays in Indy, but Chicago is not a bad fit if Briggs is traded.

K. Curtis: MIA, PHI, NYG and TEN are mentioned. I think TEN is the most needy having lost their starting WRs to free agency.

R. Brown: He stays with the Bears or retires.
why these 2 guys aren't in houston at least for a visit is rigotdamdiculous.

As to Dayne:

Eagles | Dayne scheduled to visit Thursday

Wed, 14 Mar 2007 17:33:39 -0700

Andy Schwartz, of Philadelphia.ComcastSportsNet.com, reports free agent RB Ron Dayne (Texans) is scheduled to visit the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday, March 15, according to a league source.

I'd look for Arrington to re-sign with the Gmen if the market keeps bearing very little for him.

He seemed to fit in real well with the other players and they setup somethings for him and...it was all a waste due to the injury. I imagine if they could have a new deal primarily incentive based, both sides would agree upon his return.

He got a nice deal from them just a year ago so it'll probably be a while before he eats enough crow to take a smaller deal.

The Panthers were supposed to have worked out TE Doug Jolley yesterday. They need a TE, and Jolley has shown flashes of potential.

My guess is Hamlin will go to the Titans. We need another safety, and with the Seattle connection with our GM I think its possible.

No proof, just throwing it out there.

LaVar Arrington is about a month away from being able to pass an NFL physical, according to his agent Kevin Poston, and intends to play next season.

Personally I think his career is over.

Would anyone consider moving June back to safety again?

I heard this discussed at one point as he is a bit small for an LB...was a safety in college...and so on.

Just a thought.
