Republicans for Biden (1 Viewer)

Been hearing more and more about this. Most likely just pre-election talk and I think this happens with a lot of presumptive candidates IIRC.

A coalition across both parties - Isn't this the type of thing people are always wanting, complaining doesn't happen?

Shouldn't "both sides" be on board with this?

So these Republicans who have been whining about Trump every day for 3 years are going to support Biden? Wow what a movement. I’m sure this will help reel In all the progressives who refuse to vote for Biden.

Among the GOP’s more ardent anti-Trump faction, several names came up in conversation when asked who could theoretically have a role in an outside political entity, which would not be allowed under campaign finance laws to coordinate with the campaign directly. Those names include former Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Wisconsin-based political analyst Charlie Sykes, conservative media giant Bill Kristol, former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, longtime campaign operative Steve Schmidt, former Rep. David Jolly (R-FL), and columnist Mona Charen, among others.

It may indeed hurt Biden to try and align himself closer with the Republican Party.

The point was though that people complain nonstop about not getting anything done and that these people can’t work with each other.

If a guy chooses to try and align with the other party they get #### from not only their party’s extreme members but also the other sides more extreme members.

Kind of makes it not worthwhile.

I’ve heard way less talk about this recently then talk about Dem’s for Trump.  I’d say like 2.5 to 1 honestly (specifically 10 to 4).

* again the above is 100% from this thread and the other.

I have not heard about any Dem lawmakers siding with Trump or grouping together to campaign for his re-election.
