Rest of season Rice or egbuka (1 Viewer)

Rice owner is not being patient and has him on the block. Full PPR. Would rather have Rice over Egbuka?

Have Chase, QJ, Egbuka, Aiyuk(IR) as my current WRs

I have Rice and Egbuka - and a decent bit of depth at WR. Personally, I'm trying to trade Egbuka for some RB depth right now.

My $0.02 - Egbuka's value is at a high. He'll be solid going forward, but will take a step back when Godwin comes back, and he just can't sustain this run-rate. Rice will be much more reliable - BUT, you have to wait a bit longer to get him.

In your case, I wouldn't personally want two WR's inactive for a few more weeks, so I'd pass unless you're 2-0 and think you can make the playoffs even if you drop a few games until Rice comes back. You're pretty thin to go to Chase and QJ alone.

At this point in the season I would rather have Egbuka over Rice. but I am also of the belief that Godwin won't really cut much into Egbuka's output once he comes back.

Two weeks from now that may switch for a few reasons.

I didn't even think about being short WR for a few weeks.

I could offer BILL for Rice as i have Kyren, Cook, BILL, Charbonenet, Judkins and Harris.

IMO too much to give. That might be a fair trade if Rice was already back and playing. You've still got 4 more weeks without him.
JCM will probably have more value next week if he performs, and QJ's value is sky high right now.

I'm not even sure I'd do either of those guys straight up for Rice right now, and Shakir is basically a throw-away unless you're in a really deep league.

Your JCM - Rice offer was fair IMO...Maybe sit on it another week and try again if JCM had a decent week. One less week for you to wait for Rice, and a full week of JCM starting.

Rice is on another level than Egbuka. Is this a PPR league? It almost doesn't matter - Rice is going to be a league winner once he comes back. Egbuka is great, but Godwin is coming back - whether he is good or not? that's debatable .. but hes being paid a ton of money.

Rice will be better when he returns so I’d do the trade and figure something out until then.

But if you’re just asking about the trade and your specific team Id hold Egbuka. He will be just fine when Godwin comes back. I’m not worried about him at all.
