rich harden to minnesota (1 Viewer)

Twins making a push. With all the division games in the AL Central in September and still within striking distance, seems like a smart move. Not sure what they will be giving up but it shouldn't be a ton considering what they'll have to pay Harden in arbitration next year.

Meanwhile, the Cubs are waiving the white flag.

That organization is ####ed. Pinella is done, their ace openly admits that he's lazy (Big Z) and Bradley's dooshbaggery is reaching new levels.

Nothing done yet

from mlbtraderumors.....

8:26pm: Count Phil Rogers of the Chicago Tribune among those who believe a trade will get done by Monday's deadline: "The guess here," Rogers writes, "is that Twins GM Bill Smith is going to wake up on Monday, consider how catchable the Detroit Tigers remain, and pay the price." The Twinkies currently stand 65-65 -- 4.5 games back of Detroit in the AL Central.
