Rich Harden (1 Viewer)

6 ks 4 hits and 0 runs through 5. Not bad
Pitched out of a huge jam in the 1st.. a lot of pitches in 5 innings though.I'm still pissed that CBS didn't count his first start, WTF.
If he's on your team your commissioner can manually ad the points. Ours did.
:thumbup:Entirely up to ytour commish. It's not the fault of CBS
This is just a public league, I don't know anyone else in the league. Any ideas?
It's a public league. Get over it.

lineup that will struggle to score runs.
surely you're kiddingI put Oakland in the top half of runs scored in the AL this year.
BOS, NY, TB, TOR, CHI, CLE, DET, LA, SEA, TEX will all have a better offense this year.
Are we willing to put some cash behind this assertion?
C- Suzuki - young catcher1B- Barton - good OBP, no power in minors2B- Ellis- average 2B3B- Chavez corpse - hasnt been good in yrsSS- Crosbys crippled body - probably wont get 400 ABsLF- Brown- KC castoffCF- Gonzalez/Denorfia - VERY young and who?RF- Buck - average prospectDH- Cust - platoon player?Yeah thats a real exciting lineup. Im sure theyll put up top AL #s considering the band box they play in.
that lineup is garbage. I'm a pretty fair baseball fan, and I looked at that lineup on opening day and said Who the F is that to 2 or 3 spots in the lineup.
:lmao: Leave it to a Red Sox fan to say the A's have a top half AL offense just cuz they scored 9 runs in a 2 game set against the haloed Sox pitching staff.
NIPCurrently Number one offense in the AL

So, is anybody shopping him right now? Would anybody consider moving him at this point for a guy like Milton Bradley?

He won't pitch 200 IP's, but I believe I can get 150 out of him and given how well those 150 IP's will be he will severely outproduce his draft position.
Halfway home Rich...
 I have an "extra" SP based on game limits, but thought I should hold on to all because surely Harden would end up back on the DL. Well, now I need them all because Zambrano and Marcum are DL'd, yet Rich is going strong.

This is the best chance the A's will ever have, imo, to get a hefty return for Harden. On the other hand, his injury issues will probably prevent him from ever receiving a huge contract, so maybe it's in the A's best interests to simply keep him.

Resting Harden/Big Z for the rest of these practice games is simply smart...if they happen to fall to the WC, so be it...
