Richardson or Daniels (1 Viewer)

I knew this was gonna happen picking both of these and I know my choice, I just want to see if anyone has a reason to change my mind. I’m starting Richardson and I feel fine about it.

Who would YOU start and why?

Richardson. He will have better days.

I trust their offense and coaches more as well. Great weapons around him.

I'd see if I can trade Daniels if it is redraft and pick up a need somewhere else. Maybe Daniels + an RB to upgrade at RB or Daniels + WR for upgrade at WR.

I don't think I would do this as both of these guys are injury magnets. The only way I trade one is to get a solid QB in return plus a piece that can help my starting lineup. Unless there are those types of QB's on waivers and easily acquired.

As far as who to start? I go with Daniels. He plays Monday night and will always make sure you have hope for your game. I think they are a toss up in who will do better so I break the tie with the Monday night wild card.

Not gonna lie the only reason I considered Daniels was the Monday night interest.

I have the same issue in one league. And due to the bears defense which is actually good and was able to give Stroud a hard time, I'm starting Jaden Daniels. Ill take my chances with Cincinnati

Good reason. I’m not really worried about either defense. I just don’t know which QB to trust. Since it’s basically a coin flip to me I’m going with the guy that still hasn’t found his best receiver. BUT giving me some skin in MNF is really tempting.

FYI...this may be the dumbest thing I've read on these boards and makes zero sense.

:scared:. I do the same thing pretty much every week :bag:

I thought you were serious until I was typing and saw the PS…. Lol

It can’t be THE factor but in a coin flip I’ve used it many times. Seems to be a decent strategy too. :)

I never said it made sense in any way. But this game is supposed to be fun and it's more fun when you have players in the game you are watching...hahahaha

(It's never the only reason but as a tie break or on a close call it makes things more fun).

doesn't have to be a tie or close call for me...in the zip code works. Picked up Cinny D yesterday just to have some skin in the game.

I hate MNF games with a passion. Stress, cursing at the TV, yelling at coaches as your player gets pulled in the red zone. Not fun. Actually that is teh case for all games...

It's worse when you have a lead and no players and the other team has two guys that are doing all the scoring and you can't do anything about it. Having a guy in the game always gives you hope. A chip and a chair so to speak.

I still choose Richardson but really wanting to do Daniels simply for the MNF game. If Richardson doesn’t play well tomorrow I probably won’t watch the Washington game out of spite. It would just tick me off.

Can’t believe watching a game is actually a valid fantasy strategy. 😂

With Downs back this week, it seems Richardson would be in a better position, but Chicago is tough against both Running and Passing.

While Cincy is tough against Passing, they are vulnerable against the Run. I’d roll with Daniels. I think he gets a running TD or two if it comes down to the red zone.

Full disclosure, I’m from Indy and a Colts fan.

Lost by 13 woulda won by 10. Oh well. That game hurt to watch but at least he’s on my team to use later. He looked impressive.

Lost to Goedert on a career game, Kyren going off and St Brown doing St Brown so he deserved it at least.

Shoulda followed the MNF rule like I told you to....haha

ETA: @BassNBrew ............see I told you so.
I know, I know.
I knew better and still went with it. I thought I needed the safe floor based on who I was playing. I thought Richardson would get me around 20 I wasn’t sure if Daniels would but I thought he had a better shot at a ceiling week. Over thinking my team.

Richardson would have had a decent week but they gave all the goalline touches to the backs and Goedert had a career game so that screwed me.

I didn’t think I needed the risky high ceiling. I even wanted to change and didn’t. Oh well.

Daniels this week. Not gonna over think it this time.

As for the MNF play the only guy I have going Monday is Charbonnet and I’m not playing him.
