A Christian radio host who enthusiastically looks for signs the world will end welcomed the Ebola virus as a cleansing force.

“This Ebola epidemic could become a global pandemic and that’s another name for plague,” said broadcaster Rick Wiles on his “Trunews” program.

“It may be the great attitude adjustment that I believe is coming,” Wiles continued. “Ebola could solve America’s problems with atheism, homosexuality, sexual promiscuity, pornography, and abortion.”

Wiles was enthusiastic Tuesday about the arrival of Ebola, but Right Wing Watch reported that he warned the previous day that President Barack Obama may intentionally spread the deadly virus through a mandatory and mysterious vaccine.

That would somehow then allow Obama to declare martial law and force Americans into FEMA camps, the religious right broadcaster theorized.

“If Ebola becomes a global plague, you better make sure the blood of Jesus is upon you, you better make sure you have been marked by the angels so that you are protected by God,” Wiles warned. “If not, you may be a candidate to meet the Grim Reaper.”

How is Ebola going to know which people to infect? Are "moral" people somehow immune?

 
Heck even the people being treated may not die from it. Experimental drug seems to be a good one.

And really this guy isn't that bad, he's just an idiot, you should really have gone with Hagee who said Jesus would hate people on welfare. He may want to actually open a Bible someday.

Oh yeah and pray away the Ebola is part of why it has spread so far. God seems to not be in the healing Ebola game. Maybe it's like iron chariots.

My church is giving out ebola vaccine pills during mass. :shrug:

Yeah, spinning a horrible disease that cause a slow and painful death as a means to get rid of undesirable people is not so bad. He sounds like a swell guy.

I didn't say that. I said he is just an idiot. He also has a really small platform. Hagee is treated like he is a legitimate religious leader by an awful lot of people. There is a difference there.

Though what would be just SUPER-awesome sometime is if the various nut-jobs on both poles of the various issues that divide us would police their own even 5% as much as they seem to like to police "the other guy." Just ONCE I'd like to see a number of prominent Christian leaders come out and tell this guy that his views in no way resemble the teachings of Christ (and to tell him to #### in a gentler, more "Christian" manner). Also see: Republicans and the Tea Party as it relates to politics. :popcorn:
