RIP Eli Wallach (1 Viewer)

tremendous character actor. obviously Tuco is his big movie role but he did nice work here and there over the years. he had that very distinct register - almost reedy - to his voice.

Can not even count the number of times I have seen the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. He also played Mr. Freeze a couple of times on the old Batman series. Guy was in multiple movies or TV shows every year for a couple of decades. RIP.

My brother is like the pope almost. Even so. Even a bum like me knows there's a brother out there that will never refuse me a bowl of soup.

RIP Tuco.

The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly... Tuco...

"But if you miss you had better miss very well. Whoever double-crosses me and leaves me alive, he understands nothing about Tuco. Nothing!"

Such an awesome movie, and character, and actor.

RIP Tuco!

When I watched that solid Rom-Com The Holiday, where he played the old actor, I was shocked to later read he played Tuco. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is a classic but even then I find it underrated. It's a solid top 10 all-time IMO. Often gets relegated to western-only genre and half the thread is about the Outlaw Josey Wales.

I grew up with it. If i were a little younger I might be more about Josey Wales than GBU. Josey is certainly one of the best modern Westerns.

Easily my #1 Western and there is no real close second on that. It would be hard for me to put it in a top 10 movie selection but I certainly could find space for it in top 20. A huge favorite. It frustrated me that no one at work had see it.

RIP Tuco.

Good thing I am liberal, which shouldn't be confused with a Democrat, or I might be insulted by your tone sir. Good day.
