Rob Gronkowski trade advice (1 Viewer)

My current roster in 10 team non-PPR Standard ESPN league:

Mariota, Gurley, Crowell, Antonio Brown, Doug Baldwin, Hyde, Eifert, Carolina D/ST, Giorgio Kicker, Gillislee, Emmanuel Sanders, Bilal Powell, Marvin Jones, Donte Moncrief, Colby Fleener, Andrew Luck...

I just received an offer of Gronk for Gillislee, Sanders, and Fleener.  Obviously I will be sacrificing very valuable depth, but does the return of Gronk outweigh this loss?  Thoughts?

In shallower leagues (like a 10 teamer) I like trades that give me a stronger starting lineup over depth. So while Gronk's injury history is scary, you're trading bench players for the most dominant player at his position. I'd go for it! Since the players involved are unbalanced, the other guy would have to drop 2 guys (unless his roster is already short). If the players on the other guy's team who would be dropped are better than what you'd get on the waiver wire, maybe he can just include them? That's not a biggie though.

Help with mine? https://forums.footballguys.com/forum/topic/760283-pick-up-david-johnson-and-if-so-who-to-drop/

I would take the trade. It's not a bad time to sell high on Gillislee and Gronkowski will come around (although he did look kind of sluggish Thursday night).

Do it....You are essentially just trading Gilly for Gronk. Sanders and Fleener are pretty much worthless to you in standard plus you already have Eifert. Yea, you have injury risk but in a 10 teamer there should be decent options out there on the waiver wire.
