Just listened to the entire album and for my money it is a masterpiece.  Don't go in thinking hard edged blues of Zepplin but more along the lines of what he's been up to for the last few albums.  It is a thoughtful, melodic rhapsody of intricate and worldly rhythms and his vocals remain astounding even at 69.  He evokes passion, desire, thoughtfulness and tenderness as surely as he did in his hey day and still exudes a fire that will make a womans heart all a twitter.  It is a definite must for any fan.  

Can't wait to see him in concert!!

Yeah, this is definitely a moodier sound throughout and is sort of age appropriate for a 69 year old rocker.  As this  NPR review puts it : "

I thought it was pretty playful.   Stern egged him on about Jimmy quite a bit then Plant started calling him dad. lol   I thought Plant was having fun, but just my observation.

Screw it, I'm voting for him. He's a heartbreaker with a whole lot of love. Plus he's got in depth knowledge of the Pakistan-Indian border.

Concert was tremendous.  Plant and the Space Shifters are in lock step and he still nails the soul and life of the music that you couldn't help but dance, jam, bounce, sway and bop to every tune.  It's a limited tour but of you get the chance to see him...GO!

Plenty of Zepp this time around.  The new stuff is really good but they brought it strong with Gallows Pole and That's the Way and the finale of Whole Lotta Love brought the house down.  The Bukka White song Fixin' to Die blew the roof off.  The guitarist lit the joint on fire!!  Awesome show and so great to see one of the best of all time before his Time of Dyin'.
