Roethlisberger or Dalton in week 14? (1 Viewer)

Big Ben's in Buffalo, Dalton's in Cleveland.

Crap weather in both places.

25 yards per point, 4 pts TD pass, 6 run.  Bonus at 300 yards.

I almost always take Ben, but Buffalo seems much tougher than Cleveland and Ben's been pretty weak on the road.

Don't know if it matters to anyone, but I'm also starting Eifert and Bell.

I'd go with Dalton.  Cleveland has given up 2 pass TD's I think almost all their games this season.

God that's rough - Big Ben would be the call for me. Buffalo just got shredded by Oakland so it's just a matter of playing on the road. 

Dalton had a great game last week and a lot of mediocre games this year. No way I'd start him over Roethlisburger - reeks of chasing last week's points. How much is Cinci realistically going to have to air it out against the one of the worst offenses in the NFL?  Buffalo can at least score some points and are good against the run, which should force Roethlisburger to throw the ball most of the day. And PIT loves to go for 2, so that's a bonus as well.

I have to go with Ben despite Dalton's matchup. I trust his weapons more and think the game will be close and he will continue to pass.

If I go down swinging with Ben, I can live with that. Not sure I could say the same if Dalton gets up early and they shut it down and Ben balls out. Steelers have lots to play for.

I was going with Dalton all week because I've just been so disappointed with Ben on the road.  But based on Sunday morning weather and the higher winds in Cleveland, I swtiched.  

Dumb.  Dalton had 2 TD's 0 int and Ben had 0 TD's, 3 int. 

Ah well.  Thanks to Le'Veon Bell and the Atlanta D, I still move on.
