Since he has become commish he has made some pretty widespread changes that we all know about.  NFL games in london/Mexico, extra point etc.

Why not at least try one year to move the Super Bowl to Saturday night?  Wouldnt this make too much sense to work?  Wouldnt the ratings be even higher?  Just seems like a no brainer to me and cannot believe the idea has never been floated out there.

Is there a particular reason as to why that wouldnt work?

Saturday night tv ratings are generally worse than Sunday's.  Also i read that host cities supposedly would like it because it would mean less time and money spent in their city.

I'd love to have it Saturday night, but I see the logic of Sunday-  move it to Saturday and you give the borderline football fans a reason to not watch and do something else..

I can't buy this. It's like New Year's Eve. The SB is that big. People will follow it whereever it goes. Whatever day it is, when the borderline people know that's all anyone else will be doing that night, they will accommodate for it. They don't wanna be the lone person left out of the big social event.

Plus people like me that have kids and a job that typically turn it off once it gets late will be more incluned to watch the entire game on sat night.
