No s**t....More like the Rolling Bag of BonesWhat a drag it is getting old.
From The Steel Wheelchairs tour to The Rolling Respirators tour. When I saw them on the Steel Wheels tour in 1989 it was a "nostalgia" event. It's is crazy to realize that the gap from 1989 to this tour is greater than the gap from their debut record to Steel Wheels. Goodness.
My sister and I saw them on the SW tour in DC. Living Colour opened for them. That's also how long ago it's been. When I saw them on the Steel Wheels tour in 1989 it was a "nostalgia" event. I was going to say "Depends".Can we buy tickets at the nearest nursing home?
Yeah, cuz most of those are football stadia for college teams which means they should be free in that timeframe. That's an odd itinerary from a logistical perspective.
I wonder what the driving force behind those cities was? Maybe other venues were booked already?
Yeah, the Who said the same thing back in 1982.WTF?!? The last time I saw them it was their FINAL tour...![]()
The first time I saw them was on the last stop of their First Final tour - in 1981...WTF?!? The last time I saw them it was their FINAL tour...![]()
Guessing they're not done adding shows yet.Serious question, why no shows up the eastern seaboard? I live within an hour of DC, and the closest for me would be Raleigh. You'd think they'd have something in the DC, Baltimore, Philly or New York city area.....
My assumption is what is there is all of them and they're not playing the NE because they always play the NE when they play the states. They're going places so others can see them, too, without paying a fortune to get and stay there.Guessing they're not done adding shows yet.Serious question, why no shows up the eastern seaboard? About 24 hours away from this show. The local news has shown pictures of the stage set up and an hour or so ago apparently their plane touched down at the Indianapolis Airport.https://www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com/at-the-track/rolling-stones-at-ims
4th of July at The Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Tickets starting at $77.
A great holiday at a great venue a few miles away from my house....I'll probably have to go.

And I'm not recalling the Stones ever announcing a final tour. When was that?
LOL. I was just telling my son that! I remember so vividly what a big deal it was. "See them now because it's your last chance". It was so crazy that when they came to Hartford some idiot got arrested for trying to sneak into the Civic Center - by cutting a hole in the roof!1981My assumption is what is there is all of them and they're not playing the NE because they always play the NE when they play the states.
