Ron Dayne - Visiting with Titans (1 Viewer)

Seems like they are stocked with Lendale, Henry, and Johnson...but with White coming off knee surgery, the Titans may be seeking an insurance policy (or trade bait.)

Kevin Jones visitted yesterday too

The article I saw, seemed to be a "just in case" type visit

So I guess the Titans are continuing with the plan of stocking up on average/below average RB's/WR's.

I think this is a sign that the Titans have finally realized their mistake with picking Chris Henry. Chris Johnson has the same skills as Henry, except he's better, both Jones and Dayne are better pure RB's as LenWhale insurance.

He was a curious/desparate looking pick last year and taking another 2nd round back this year speaks volumes IMO.

very wolfy post...

Has Dayne done anything at since leaving 'Sconsin? Other than buffets?
Averaged 4 yards per carry the past 2 seasons
As a part-time/situational back. Yea.You want him? You can have him.
Well, he has been either played a lot or not played. His play has been injury dependent, but when he plays, he has been the lead back. He hasn't really been situational. In the last 2 years, he has 14 games with 15 carries or more.

What do the Titans running game & Billy Graham have in common?

They both can make 60,000 people stand up & yell "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!"

Speaking of the Titans... if New England is often called "The Pats" and Tampa Bay is often called "The Bucs", then shouldn't Tennessee... um, never mind.
