LB Antonio Pierce (back) did not play, vaulting rookie Bryan Kehl to the starting group
Just a heads up, as the Giants drafted another LB, Jonathan Goff, who seemed like a more natural MLB (even if he would only be a two down MLB) than Kehl.

I like this kid ... Kehl is one of those who has the intagibles to someday make the most of an opportunity. Not a big fan of Goff. Whatsup with Pierce's back?

Time to invest in Kehl, he of the 6.54 3-cone.Bryan showed remarkable improvement from the combine to his proday in several areas. He also scored 29/32 on the wonderlick.

The Giants showed a major need at OLB and drafted Kehl to fill it. Wilkerson, DeOssie, Clark and Kehl will fight it out for the OLB positions, Kehl certainly looking like "a keeper" as he can play all positions in the 4-3. It certainly can't be a bad sign if he's filling in for the signal caller on DEF.

Time to invest in Kehl.
